Brizee sat there on the couch, looking at a picture of her and Nick. They had been married and Nick left her after finding out that the truth about her father’s will.  Her father had passed away and his will stated that she get back with Nick and get married to him within a three week period as soon as the will was read and have his baby within nine months after the reading of the will.  Nick was not ready for kids and had used protection each time they had slept together.  She was at her mom’s one day and talking to her about the will and she didn’t know that Nick had followed her and overheard the truth and left and sent Brian and Leighanne with a letter and then had sent divorce papers.  One condition in the papers was that she was never to see or speak to him ever again. She had just found out that she was pregnant.  She decided not to tell Nick about the baby. Brian and Leighanne knew she was pregnant but they understood her reason for not telling Nick and they swore they wouldn’t tell him. She got up and went for a walk on the beach.  She walked along and looked ahead and saw Nick standing there. She walked around him and continued on down the beach.  Nick watched her walk away and followed her.

        “Briz,” Nick said.

        “The papers said not to see or speak to you again, so I’m doing that,” Brizee said.

        “I called it off,” Nick said.  She stopped and looked at him.

        “What,” Brizee said.

        “I cancelled the divorce, I want you to come home,” Nick said. Brizee just stood there.

        “Why,” Brizee said.

        “I should have understood everything you were going through, I should have stayed and talked to you, I know the will wasn’t your idea,” Nick said.

        “That’s right, it wasn’t, I didn’t want to be told what to do with my life, but my family was going to lose everything, but thanks to Brian, Howie, AJ, and Kevin, everything was saved regardless of the outcome of the will,” Brizee said. Nick moved closer to her.

        “I’m sorry for leaving and everything, I want you back,” Nick said. Brizee looked at her feet and looked up with tears in her eyes and she went into his arms and they kissed deeply.

        “There is something I need to tell you,” Brizee said.

        “I know you are pregnant, I have a bad habit of overhearing conversations, I heard Brian and Leighanne talking about it,” Nick said.

        “So you called it off because of the baby,” Brizee said.

        “I called off the divorce before finding out about the baby, I was going to come see you after talking with them,” Nick said.

        “Let’s go home,” Brizee said. They went to her mom’s house and packed up her stuff and went home to his house and got everything in and unpacked and he locked up and carried her up to the bedroom and they laid on the bed and removed each other’s clothes and made love off and on for the rest of the afternoon.
