Nick arrived home and walked into the house and saw it empty. All the furniture and his possessions were gone. He searched the house and saw his clothes and stuff gone. He called the guys. They came over and saw the house.

        “What the heck is going on here,” Nick said.  He saw a note on the mantle of the fireplace. He opened it.

        “It has an address on it, it says to come to this address, and just walk into the house,” Nick said. They went to the house and he looked at it and saw it was the most beautiful house he’s ever seen and it was by the ocean. He went up to the door and walked in and looked around and saw all his stuff and looked at the guys.

        “Hello?” Nick called. He saw his wife, Brizee, come in from the kitchen.

        “Hey, surprise!” Brizee said.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “Briz, what is going on,” Brian said.

        “Briz, what is this,” Nick said.

        “Our new house, I wanted to surprise you with it, so while you were on tour, I found this house, got it ready to go and packed up everything and moved it here, the girls helped me get everything unpacked and set up,” Brizee said.

        “Do you think it should have been a decision we made together,” Nick said.

        “I wanted to do something for you, Nick, I thought you would like it, a house by the ocean, and you can park your boat at the dock out there so you can just walk down and go out on your boat without having to drive to the marina all the time,” Brizee said. Nick looked out back and saw his boat parked at the dock. He looked at her.

        “How did it get there,” Nick said.

        “Your dad and Aaron,” Brizee said.

        “So everyone was in on this,” Nick said.

        “Except you and the guys,” Brizee said. Nick looked at Brian, AJ, and Howie.

        “We didn’t know anything, I swear,” Brian said.

        “Leigh, Leighanne, and Rochelle knew but they didn’t tell their husbands,” Brizee said.

        “I can’t believe this,” Nick said.

        “You have been working nonstop and you always said you wanted a house by the ocean again, I thought I would surprise you and get you what you wanted,” Brizee said.

        “With my money, without talking to me first,” Nick said.

        “Nick, calm down,” AJ said.

        “I bought it, Nick, I bought the house with my money, the house is in your name and mine and I used all the money I had left that was my own money to buy it,” Brizee said. Nick looked at it and went out the backdoor. Brizee watched him go.

        “So if Nick were to leave you, you wouldn’t have any money to live on,” Howie said.

        “I would have the house but no money to live on, when I did this, I thought he would like it,” Brizee said.

        “This is something you wanted to do for him, I think he is in shock,” Brian said.

        “I don’t know if I can handle it if he left me because of this,” Brizee said.

        “Briz, you thought he would like it, maybe he will grow to like it,” Howie said.

        “Maybe I should just forget this, let’s get everything packed and move it back to the other house,” Brizee said.

        “What were you going to do with that house,” AJ said.

        “I was going to get new furniture and redecorate the house and have two houses, that way if there are any hurricanes, we can have that house since it’s safer than this one,” Brizee said.

        “Just let him cool down and then talk to him,” Brian said. Brizee looked out and saw Nick standing on the beach.

        “I think I made a big mistake, I shouldn’t have gotten this house and shouldn’t have done anything without talking to him first,” Brizee said. Howie hugged her.

        “You wanted to do something special, you wanted to surprise him, he’ll come around,” Howie said.

        “You guys know how Nick is, he won’t accept a decision like this if he wasn’t a part of it, let’s just pack,” Brizee said. The guys nodded and helped her start packing. Nick came in and saw them.

        “What’s going on,” Nick said.

        “Moving back to the other house,” AJ said.

        “Why,” Nick said.

        “Because you didn’t like the surprise, I shouldn’t have gotten this house, it was the wrong thing to do,” Brizee said.

        “Briz, I like the house, and the surprise, I just was in shock that you got this house, which you used all the money you had left for this house, you could have used our money,” Nick said.

        “What are you saying,” Brizee said. The guys looked at him. He looked at her and smiled.

        “We are staying, Briz, we are home,” Nick said. Brizee grinned and jumped into his arms and hugged him. The guys smiled and joined the hug. An hour later, the guys left. The stuff that they started to pack were put back where they were. Nick looked all through the house and sat down on the couch.

        “Amazing, I love it,” Nick said.

        “I thought so, but don’t worry, we are not selling the other house, we are going to redecorate it and have it for when the hurricanes come, we can go to that house to be safe, since it’s not near the ocean,” Brizee said.

        “Awesome,” Nick said.
