Brizee sat there backstage watching her best friends, the Backsteet Boys, perform in concert. She grew up with Nick and they have been best friends. They never fought and were always there for each other. Wherever Nick went, she was there. He refused to go on tour without her with him. The guys treat her like a little sister and she was best friends with their wives. Nick came offstage and saw her and smiled.

        “Hey babe!” Nick said hugging her.

        “Hey sweetie, great show as usual!” Brizee said resting her head on his shoulder.

        “Thanks, babe, I’ve got to get a shower, be back in a bit!” Nick said. He took off down the hall. Brian, Howie, and AJ came backstage and hugged her and went to shower. She went to Nick’s dressing room and sat down and waited for him. He came in with a towel around his waist.

        “Hey babe,” Nick said. He got his clothes.

        “Hey, I’m not looking,” Brizee said covering her eyes.

        “How many times have you seen me naked, you don’t have to cover your eyes,” Nick said. Brizee sighed and looked at him. He smiled.

        “Many of times but still, Nick, it’s only decent that me, your best friend, not look,” Brizee said.

        “Brizee, we have been best friends forever, we know each other inside and out, we were each other’s first time,” Nick said. He came over and stood in front of her. She looked up at him.

        “I know that, Nick, what do you want me to do,” Brizee said. Nick looked at her. He removed his towel.

        “Can you help me?” Nick asked.

        “Help you?” Brizee asked. He took her hand and put it on his length. She looked up at him. He nodded. She took him into her mouth and sucked him hard. He threw his head back and let out a moan. She pulled off and sucked the tip of him and ran her tongue across the slit and she took him into her mouth as far as it would go and he came into her mouth and she swallowed every drop and she pulled back and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. He pulled her up and hugged her.

        “Damn, Brizee, that was amazing, I should return the favor,” Nick said. She rested her head on his shoulder.

        “Can I get dressed?” Nick asked.

        “Oh sorry,” Brizee said. He got dressed and sat down on the couch and she sat down on his lap and rested her head on his shoulder and played with his shirt.

        “This doesn’t change things, does it?” Nick asked.

        “No, you needed help and me being your best friend helped you,” Brizee said.

        “Brizee,” Nick said.

        “What,” Brizee said.

        “Can I kiss you?” Nick asked.

        “You want to kiss me?” Brizee said.

        “Yeah,” Nick said. She pulled back and looked at him. He put a hand on her cheek and leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. The kiss grew deeper as he held her closer. She slowly pulled back and looked at him. He looked at her.

        “What’s happening, Nick,” Brizee said.

        “I don’t know but I don’t want to stop,” Nick said.

        “Oh god,” Brizee said as he crushed his mouth to hers and he kissed her deeply as his hands slid under her shirt. She moved to straddle his lap. He heard a knock at the door and groaned.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “Time to go, Frack,” Brian said. Brizee got up and got her stuff together and went out the door. Brian looked in and saw Nick sitting there.

        “You okay, man,” Brian said.

        “I’m fine,” Nick said leaning forward and rubbing his face with his hands. Brian went to his bus.

Nick got up and got his stuff together and went to his bus and didn’t see Brizee. He saw her in her bunk with her back to him.

        “Brizee,” Nick said softly.

        “What,” Brizee said not moving.

        “Are we okay,” Nick said.

        “We will talk in the morning, get some sleep, Nicky,” Brizee said. Nick sighed and got into his bunk and laid there. He knew things would never be the same.

The next morning, Nick woke up and got up and saw Brizee still sleeping. He went up front and sat on the couch and looked out and saw they were in the next city. Brizee came up and saw him.

        “Morning,” Nick said.

        “Morning,” Brizee said. She sat down on the couch.

        “Want to talk now?” Nick asked.

        “I guess,” Brizee said. She looked at her hands.

        “Brizee,” Nick said.

        “Nick, I’m not sure what exactly is happening but I don’t want to do anything that would jeopardize our friendship, like getting into a relationship and the chance of it not working out, that could destroy our friendship and I don’t want that to happen, I don’t want to lose you at all,” Brizee said. Nick took her hand in his and held it.

        “I don’t want to either but the way I feel is something that can’t be helped,” Nick said.

        “And what is that,” Brizee said.

        “That I want to be more than friends, that I’ve fallen for you and I know it won’t go away, I’ve felt this way for two years and it still hasn’t gone away,” Nick said.

        “Two years and you didn’t say anything?” Brizee said.

        “I was scared, and unsure how to tell you,” Nick said.

        “You know you can talk to me about anything, you don’t have to be scared to talk to me,” Brizee said.

        “I know, I was scared that you would be mad at me for feeling this way and I didn’t want you to hate me for feeling this way,” Nick said.

        “Mad at you, hate you, are you crazy or something, I mean, you know me better than anyone and you would think I would hate you or be mad at you,” Brizee said.

        “Brizee,” Nick said.

        “Don’t you dare hide anything from me ever again, got it,” Brizee said.

        “Okay, okay, now it’s your turn,” Nick said.

        “Nick, you know where I stand on this,” Brizee said.

        “Oh right, you don’t want to do anything to hurt the friendship, you can’t be with me because of the friendship,” Nick said.

        “I’m sorry, Nick, you said you were scared, well, I’m scared, too,” Brizee said.

        “There is no reason to be scared, Brizee, it would only make the friendship so much stronger and if you think I would ever hurt you or anything, think again, there would be no way I would ever let you get away from me,” Nick said. Brizee looked at him and she moved over and straddled his lap.

        “I want to be with you,” Brizee said. Nick smiled.

        “Same goes for me and I promise you with all my heart and soul that I will never hurt you, if I lost you forever, it would kill me, I would not be able to go on,” Nick said. Brizee smiled.

        “Be my guy forever?” Brizee asked.

        “You got me forever, baby,” Nick said kissing her deeply. There was a knock at the door of his bus.

        “Yo, Kaos, time to go in,” AJ said. Nick groaned and they got up and went into the venue. Nick found his dressing room and Brizee went in. Nick followed and put his bag down.

        “I’ve got to go practice, I’ll be back,” Nick said kissing her and went to join the guys onstage. Brizee closed the door and laid on the couch.

Nick came backstage with the guys and went to his dressing room and saw Brizee lying on the couch asleep. He closed the door and locked it and knelt down beside her.

        “Hey, Brizee,” Nick said. She woke up and saw him and smiled. He stroked her cheek.

        “Tired?” Nick asked.

        “A little, didn’t sleep well last night, just tossed and turned all night,” Brizee said.

        “Well, you will sleep well from now on,” Nick said kissing her softly.

        “I know, because you will be there to hold me,” Brizee said.

        “And I will never let go,” Nick said. She smiled and pulled him up so that he was laying on top of her. He smiled and kissed her deeply.

That night after the show, he came into the dressing room after a shower and closed the door and locked it and turned and saw Brizee laying on the couch reading a magazine. She saw him and smiled and got up and came over to him. He pulled her close and kissed her deeply. She reached down and pulled off his towel. He pulled back and looked at her and she nodded. He helped her remove her clothes and he gazed at her body. He kissed her deeply as he moved them to the couch and sat on the couch and she straddled his lap and she sank down onto him and they moaned as she moved against him as he held her hips as he thrusted up against him. His hands moved up to her breasts and he stroked her nipples with his thumbs and he leaned down and took one in his mouth and sucked deep. She held him close to her as she came around him and cried out his name softly. He groaned and came spilling himself inside her. They sat there holding each other as they were still connected.

        “Oh god, baby,” Nick said resting his head on her shoulder.

        “I know, that was so amazing,” Brizee said.

        “Oh yeah,” Nick said. They kissed deeply and they made love one more time before getting up and getting dressed. They got their stuff together and went to the bus and got on and put their stuff down and went to the back of the bus where the entertainment room was and closed the door and saw the room was empty. They were in each other’s arms and got blankets and laid them on the floor and laid on top of the blankets and removed each other’s clothes and they made love off and on as the bus headed to the next city. They laid there after the last time and held each other.

        “I am never letting you go, I know for sure that I’m so deep in love with you,” Nick said kissing her forehead.

        “Same here, I know I wasn’t sure at first but now I know in my heart that you are my everything,” Brizee said. He smiled and kissed her and they made love again before going to sleep in each other’s arms.

The next morning, Brizee woke up and saw she was alone in a bunk and saw she was dressed. She realized that she dreamt of her and Nick together. She got out of her bunk and walked up front and saw Nick sitting on the couch talking with his bodyguard, Billy.

        “Morning, Briz,” Billy said.

        “Hey babe, morning,” Nick said.

        “Morning,” Brizee said.

        “Sleep okay?” Nick asked.

        “Yeah, I guess,” Brizee said sitting down beside him.

        “Briz, you okay,” Nick said.

        “I’m fine, just trying to wake up,” Brizee said.

The bus pulled up in front of the hotel and they got their stuff and got off the bus and went inside. Nick got the keys and they went up to his suite. They went in and Brizee put her stuff in her room while Nick put his in the other room. He came out and went to her room and saw her sitting on the bed.

        “Briz, can we talk?” Nick asked.

        “Sure,” Brizee said. He came in and sat beside her.

        “Something is bothering you,” Nick said.

        “I just had a dream,” Brizee said.

        “What was it about?” Nick asked.

        “You and me as a couple,” Brizee said. She told him exactly what had happened in her dream. He looked at her and took her hand in his.

        “I would say that was an amazing dream, I’ve had that kind of dream before,” Nick said.

        “What do you think they mean?” Brizee asked.

        “Maybe that we are meant to be together, in every way possible, that maybe we are soulmates,” Nick said. Brizee looked up at him.

        “Maybe you are right about that,” Brizee said. He stood up and pulled her up and close to him and cupped her face in his hands and he gently kissed her softly on the lips. He looked at her and they smiled and they kissed deeply.  Brizee pulled back and rested her head on his shoulder. Nick held her close.

        “Nicky,” Brizee said.

        “Yeah,” Nick said. She looked up at him and he stroked her cheek. She cupped his cheek.

        “Be my guy?” Brizee asked.

        “Forever, babe, forever and always,” Nick said. He kissed her softly. He rested his forehead against hers.

        “Make love to me, Nicky,” Brizee asked. He kissed her hungrily as they removed their clothes and they laid on the bed and he laid on top of her. He slowly made love to her. Afterwards, they laid there in each other’s arms.

        “Like a dream come true, I never want to stop,” Brizee said resting her head on his chest.

        “Me either, I am in love with you, and I never want to be without you,” Nick said kissing her forehead.  She looked up at him and he kissed her deeply as he rolled over and made love to her again. They were lying there kissing in the afterglow when they heard a knock at the door. Nick groaned and he got up and got dressed and went out the door. Brizee smiled and laid against the pillows. She heard voices. She got dressed and brushed her hair and came out of the bedroom and saw Nick standing at the door. She saw Jane standing there.

        “What are you doing here, Jane,” Brizee said coming to stand beside Nick.

        “I was hoping to talk to you guys,” Jane said.

        “About what, what is there to say, you keep us from Leslie’s funeral and you expect us to talk to you, think again, you kept Nick from saying goodbye to his sister, you kept me from saying goodbye to someone who was like a sister to me, you made sure we wouldn’t be there, I’m surprised Bob went along with it, I’m surprised you let Bob be there, if you had your way, you would make sure Leslie’s own father, her big brother, or anyone who you hate wouldn’t be there,” Brizee said.

        “Brizee,” Jane said.

        “No, Jane, you have no idea how Nick felt when he found out that one of his little sisters was gone, it almost destroyed him, he barely made it onstage, it is a miracle he made it through his shows, but he did it for his sister, because he knew how much she loved to perform, how much she loved to sing, and how much she loved watching Nick do what he loved, and you know Nick doesn’t like anyone to see him cry but those fans did, every show he did, he dedicated a song to Leslie, you have no idea how much he loved her, you didn’t care, you were all about you, you didn’t give a shit about how anyone else felt, you didn’t care that you weren’t the only one who lost Leslie,” Brizee said. Nick went and sat on the couch. Brizee stood there with her arms crossed.

        “You are right about everything but I’ve been thinking a lot since then, I want to stop this, I want to be better, I want to change, I wanted to come to apologize for everything I’ve done and I want the chance to show that I want to change for the better and be a real mom for once,” Jane said.

        “Why should we give you that chance,” Brizee said.

        “I’ve already lost one child, I don’t think I can bear losing another, BJ, Aaron, and Angel are giving me another chance, all that’s left is you and Nick,” Jane said.

        “Me?” Brizee asked.

        “You know I have always considered you a member of the family, ever since you were born, you’ve been an honorary Carter family member,” Jane said.

        “Well, me and Briz are a couple now,” Nick said.

        “I knew it would happen eventually, Bob knew it all along,” Jane said.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “Your father had always said that someday you two would get together, it was like you two were meant for each other,” Jane said. Brizee looked at Nick.

        “Okay, Mom, you have one chance to prove that you have changed, this is the only chance you will get,” Nick said.

        “That’s what BJ, Aaron, and Angel said, too, I promise you that I will not let you all down,” Jane said. Brizee looked at Nick and they both hugged her at the same time. She hugged them back and kissed Nick’s cheek and then Brizee’s.

        “I better get going, I’ll talk to you both later,” Jane said. She left. Brizee closed the door.  Nick locked the door and picked her up and carried her back to her bedroom. They removed each other’s clothes and collapsed on the bed and made love off and on for the rest of the day.

That night, they ordered room service and they were in the middle of making love when it arrived. He groaned and kissed her and got up and put a robe on and brought the cart in and closed the door after putting an don’t disturb sign on the door and locked up and Brizee came out in his shirt and they ate. After they were done and the cart put back out in the hallway, Nick turned and found himself pressed against the door. Brizee smiled and pushed off the robe and sank down to her knees and took him in her mouth and sucked him deep. He threw his head back as he came in her mouth. She swallowed every drop and stood up and he removed the shirt and saw she was completely naked underneath. He growled and pressed her against the wall and lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he pushed himself deep in her body and went fast and hard. She held onto him and came around him. He came spilling inside her and he held her there as he rested his forehead against her shoulder.

        “God baby, I want you all the time,” Nick said.

        “I know, I want you all the time, too,” Brizee said burying her face in his neck. He stayed inside her as he carried her to the bedroom and laid on the bed with himself still inside her. She felt him get hard again and she rode him hard and he came inside her again. She laid on top of him.

        “I can’t get enough of you,” Nick said.

        “Me either but I’m exhausted,” Brizee said. He held her head and kissed her deeply. They got under the covers and he spooned up behind her as they fell asleep. In the middle of the night, he awoke to find her pressed against him. She woke and looked at him and saw him awake.

        “You want me again, don’t you,” Brizee said.

        “I can’t help it, you are so sexy,” Nick said kissing her deeply. She sat up and got up and got on her hands and knees.

        “Want me this way,” Brizee said. He got up on his knees and pushed into her body. He went fast and hard and held her hips. He pulled her back against him as he sat on his heels and moved slowly against her as he ran his hands up and cupped her breasts and buried his face in her neck and she let her head fall back on his shoulder.

        “God baby, I love you so much,” Nick said.

        “I love you, too, Nicky, I need you,” Brizee said.

        “I’m here, baby,” Nick said. He moved her back to her hands and knees and went faster and harder. He came fast and hard spilling himself deep into her body. She moaned as she came around him. He pulled out of her and pulled her against him and found her lips for a deep hungry kiss. They collapsed onto the pillows and fell asleep.

Two months later, they were headed home. Nick and Brizee had spent the last two months making love every spare moment they had. They were sitting in the car that was taking them to their house. The driver pulled into the driveway. They got their bags and went into the house and closed the door and locked up and they were in each other’s arms. They made sure no one was there before they removed each other’s clothes and they made love on the couch. They got up and headed up the stairs before he stopped and he made love to her on the stairs. They made it to the bedroom. He closed the door and locked it and they collapsed on the bed making love for the rest of the day and night. They spent the next few days, making love off and on. Only stopping to sleep and eat. They collapsed on the bed.

        “You’ve worn me out, Nicky, I can’t move,” Brizee said.

        “Me either,” Nick said.

        “We have been making love every spare moment for the last two months now, we need a break, we need to do stuff besides make love all the time, this relationship can’t just be about sex,” Brizee said.

        “I know, you’re right,” Nick said. His cell phone rang. He reached for it.

        “Yeah, hey man, what, crap, okay, I’ll be there, bye,” Nick said. He hung up and rubbed his face.

        “Babe,” Brizee said.

        “I forgot the meeting yesterday with the guys and Johnny about the new album, dammit,” Nick said. He got up and got dressed. She got dressed.

        “I’m sorry,” Brizee said.

        “It’s not your fault, baby, it’s mine,” Nick said. He kissed her and went out the door. She went downstairs and sat in the kitchen. Leighanne came in.

        “What’s up,” Leighanne said.

        “Nick forgot the meeting yesterday,” Brizee said.

        “I know, Brian was worried that something happened to him,” Leighanne said.

        “Nope, he was too busy in bed with me,” Brizee said.

        “Briz,” Leighanne said.

        “He and I couldn’t stop making love all the time, it was like every spare minute Nick had was with me in bed, it was like an addiction,” Brizee said.

        “I hope there was protection,” Leighanne said.

        “No, I could be pregnant by now,” Brizee said.

        “Does he know that,” Leighanne said.

        “No, he just wanted me all the time that he probably didn’t think of it,” Brizee said.

        “What about birth control pills?” Leighanne asked.

        “I’m allergic to them, I was on them and then I passed out and had to go to the hospital, they said it was a reaction to the pills so I had to get off of them,” Brizee said.

        “Let’s go get checked out,” Leighanne said. Brizee got her purse and they went to the doctor. Brizee was examined. Her phone beeped and she saw a text from Nick asking where she was. She told him she was with Leighanne. He told her he loved her and he’ll see her when she gets home. The doctor came back. She looked at Brizee.

        “You’re pregnant, two months along,” she said. Brizee got all the info and the prenatal vitamins and Leighanne took her home. Brizee walked into the house and put her purse down and turned and saw Nick standing there.

        “Hi baby,” Nick said kissing her neck.

        “Nice choice of words,” Brizee said looking up at him. He looked at her.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “I’m two months pregnant, Nicky,” Brizee said.

        “We’re having a baby?” Nick asked.

        “Yes,” Brizee said.

        “You aren’t on birth control?” Nick asked.

        “No, remember that time I passed out, they figured it out, it was an allergic reaction to the pills so I had to get off of them,” Brizee said. Nick hugged her.

        “Oh, well, then we are having a baby!” Nick said smiling. Brizee hugged him.

        “I’m glad you are happy, I thought you wouldn’t be,” Brizee said.

        “You know I’ve always wanted to be a father, and now I’m going to be,” Nick said kissing her.

        “Don’t ever let me go,” Brizee said.

        “Not a chance, we are forever, baby, and we are going to have a family, I never want to let you go,” Nick said. He held her close. He rested a hand on her stomach.

        “I’m so happy you are happy,” Brizee said.

        “Our baby is in here, I’m not leaving you alone in this, I’m not going anywhere,” Nick said. She kissed him softly. He picked her up and carried her upstairs and laid her on the bed and laid beside her. They removed each other’s clothes and they made slow passionate love over and over again. They laid there holding each other. He was stroking her stomach. He leaned down and kissed it.

        “Hey little one, I know you can’t hear me yet but I can’t wait for you to be here,” Nick said softly.

Two days later, Leighanne and Brizee were at the mall with Nick and Brian. Brizee and Leighanne were at the food court while Nick and Brian were in the jewelry store.

        “I want the perfect ring, one to show her that I want her forever and I’m not doing it for the baby,” Nick said.  He saw a ring and smiled.

        “I found it,” Nick said. Brian saw it and smiled.

        “That’s the one, man, it’s perfect,” Brian said. Nick bought the ring and put the box in his pocket and they went to find the girls. They saw them at the food court eating. Nick and Brian sat down with their girls.

        “What’s up, guys,” Leighanne said.

        “Not much,” Brian said.

That night, Nick and Brizee went for a walk on the beach. He stopped and faced her.

        “You okay,” Brizee said.

        “Yeah,” Nick said. He knelt down in front of her.

        “Nick,” Brizee said.

        “Brizee, I’ve loved you for a long time, you know me inside and out and you know how much you mean to me and I can’t live without you in my life, you are everything to me and you are my reason for living, will you marry me and be mine forever and always, will you be my everything,” Nick said. He pulled out the box and opened it and she saw the most beautiful ring ever. She looked at it and looked at him. She cried and nodded slowly.

        “Yes, I will,” Brizee said. He smiled and took the ring and slid it on her finger and he kissed her and he stood up and kissed her deeply.
