Valerie sat there waiting for David. Her old friend, Ginger, wanted one night with David in exchange for her silence of the scam they pulled on everyone. David came in and sat down. Valerie looked at him.

        “I didn’t do it, I took her to the airport and put her on a plane back to Buffalo, with ten thousand dollars and told her to never come back and bother you or anyone again,” David said.

        “Thanks, and I’m sorry about all this, and for what I did, I just wanted to fit in and couldn’t think of any other way, I wish I could go back and change things,” Valerie said. She looked at the table. David took her hand.

        “I understand why you did, you wanted to be part of the group, you wanted to belong, and you do, and you belong with me, no more lies, okay,” David said.

        “I promise,” Valerie said. They went to his dorm and laid on the bed and they made love. They were lying there holding each other when the phone rang. David grabbed it.

        “Hello, hey Brandon, what, oh my god, okay, we’ll be there,” David said. He hung up and got up and got dressed.

        “David,” Valerie said.

        “Brandon found Kelly strung out in her car, she’s in the hospital,” David said. Valerie got up and got dressed and they went to the hospital. They found Brandon and Susan.

        “What happened,” David said.

        “I got a call from her saying she needed help and we found her in her car in an alley, they said she’s okay, just got drugs in her system, Val, you were right, I’m sorry,” Brandon said.

        “It’s okay, you guys know her better than me,” Valerie said. Brandon hugged her.

        “And I know you better than her, I knew you could tell when someone is high,” Brandon said.

        “Because I used to smoke pot in my room when I first came here,” Valerie said.

        “You said no more lies,” David said.

        “I thought you knew, Kelly smelled it, Brandon knew,” Valerie said.

        “Kelly knew,” David said.

        “She smelled it when she was at the house, I said it was incense,” Valerie said.

        “David, it’s old news, Val has learned her lesson,” Brandon said. David sighed and hugged her.

        “I know,” David said.

        “How is she,” Valerie said.

        “They are trying to get the cocaine out of her system,” Brandon said.

        “Steve, Clare, Donna, and Joe are on their way,” Susan said.

        “This must be rough for you, Susan,” Valerie said.

        “Well, not really, I mean, they are still friends and I know he still cares about her, I really don’t want to fight with him about it and want to be the good girlfriend and be here for support so it doesn’t really bother me, plus Kelly is a nice person, she needs all the support she can get,” Susan said. Brandon hugged her.  Suddenly Valerie doubled over in pain. David held onto her.

        “Val,” David said.

        “Pain,” Valerie said before collapsing against him. He picked her up and carried her to get her help. Susan went with them for support while Brandon waited for news on Kelly. The rest of the gang came in. Brandon told them about Kelly and then told them about Valerie. Steve and Brandon went to see about Valerie while Clare, Donna, and Joe stayed to wait for word on Kelly. They found her in a room where a doctor was examining her. David was holding her hand. Susan stood next to him.

        “Susan,” Brandon said.

        “How’s Kelly?” Susan asked.

        “No word yet, Clare, Donna, and Joe are waiting,” Brandon said.

        “I’ll be back with your results,” the doctor said before leaving the room. David sat on the bed and held Valerie.

        “What is wrong with me,” Valerie said.

        “We’ll find out soon,” David said kissing her forehead.

        “Don’t leave my side,” Valerie said.

        “I’m not going anywhere, they will have to get security to carry me out the door if they want me gone,” David said. The doctor came back in.

        “Ms. Malone, your tests show you are pregnant, the pain you experienced was stress,” the doctor said.

        “I’m pregnant?” Valerie said.

        “Yes, you are, you are three weeks along,” the doctor said. Valerie looked at David.

        “Our first time together,” Valerie said. David kissed her forehead.

        “Congrats, you two,” Brandon said. Dylan came in.

        “Dylan!” Valerie said.

        “Hey man, just get back into town,” Brandon said hugging him.

        “Yeah, Donna called Brenda and told her about Kelly and I was there visiting Bren, she came back with me, she’s with Kelly,” Dylan said. He saw David holding Valerie.   

        “You two still together?” Dylan asked.

        “Yup and just found out that she’s pregnant, three weeks along,” David said.

        “Congratulations, you two,” Dylan said slapping hands with David and hugging Valerie.

        “Thanks, tell Bren to come see me, I haven’t seen her in a long time,” Valerie said.

        “You wanted to see me,” Brenda said coming in.

        “You bet I did, it’s been a long time, Bren,” Valerie said. Brenda smiled and hugged her. They hugged for awhile.

        “I sure missed you, girl,” Brenda said.

        “I missed you, too, your old room at the house was so amazing, we redecorated the house and I changed the walls in the room but it looks cool,” Valerie said.

        “I have missed the house,” Brenda said.

        “Speaking of houses,”  Dylan said.

        “Still there,” Brandon said handing him the keys.

        “Cool, we’ll be in town for awhile,” Dylan said.

        “How long?” Brandon said.

        “For good, I’m transferring back to CU and Dylan is returning to CU,” Brenda said.

        “What about acting?” Brandon said.

        “Well, I decided to change majors, I’m going into family law,” Brenda said.

        “Wow, Bren, very impressive,” Brandon said.

        “I thought so, acting got so boring, plus, I missed all my friends and I missed you, Brandon,” Brenda said. Brandon smiled and hugged her.

        “Oh I forgot, Bren, this is Susan Keats,” Brandon said. Brenda shook her hand.

        “Nice to meet you,” Brenda said.

        “Same here, I can’t believe you two are twins,” Susan said. Brenda smiled.

        “Yup, we should talk,” Brenda said. They went to talk. Brandon hugged Valerie and went to see Kelly. Dylan stood there with Valerie and David.

        “So, what is going to happen now?” Dylan asked.

        “Well, I am going to rest a lot and take it easy, I can’t even think about giving the baby up or having an abortion, there is no way I could live with those choices,” Valerie said. David smiled and kissed her forehead.

        “If you made those two choices, I could never forgive you,” David said.

        “I kinda figured that, there is no way I would ever want to be without you, Donna told me your beliefs, that’s why I said that, I can’t be without you, David,” Valerie said. David hugged her close.

        “You two definitely belong together,” Dylan said.

        “As do you and Bren,” Valerie said.

        “I thought so, I was glad he showed up in London,” Brenda said coming in. Dylan hugged her close. Donna came in with Joe.

        “Major news, Brandon and Susan broke up,” Donna said. Valerie looked at David.

        “What happened,” Valerie said.

        “Brandon realized that he’s still in love with Kelly and Kelly felt the same way so they are back together,” Donna said. Brenda smiled.

        “I am so tired, I think jetlag is catching up to me,” Brenda said.

        “Yeah, me too, we are going to head out, we will check in with you guys later,” Dylan said. They left.

        “They make a great couple,” Valerie said.

        “Yup, just like old times there,” Donna said.

        “How are you, Valerie,” Joe said.

        “I’m okay, just pregnant,” Valerie said. Donna grinned and hugged her and David.

        “Congratulations, you two,” Donna said.

        “Thanks,” David said. The doctor came in and released Valerie and David took her home to the Walsh house and settled her into her bed.

        “I’m staying here with you,” David said lying beside her. Valerie cuddled up against him.

        “Good,” Valerie said. Brenda and Dylan came in.

        “I like how the room looks now,” Brenda said.

        “Bren, hey, sorry, I guess you want your old room back,” Valerie said.

        “Actually, no, I’ve moved in with Dylan, we made that decision together, I want to be with him as much as possible,” Brenda said.

        “Didn’t you try the living together situation before,” David said.

        “Yeah, but this time we don’t have to worry about my dad since he’s in Hong Kong and I’m out of high school and can make my own choices, besides, he stayed with me in London for a week and we survived so we decided to live together here,” Brenda said.

        “Besides Casa Walsh is totally booked up,” Dylan said.

        “And I wouldn’t dare kick you out of the bedroom just because I’m back home, this is your room now,” Brenda said. Valerie smiled.

        “I’m glad you’re back in town, we have so much to catch up on,” Valerie said.

        “I know, we can do that anytime, you need to rest, we need to sleep off the jetlag,” Brenda said. They left and went to Dylan’s. They walked in and looked around.

        “Good thing Brandon kept this place for me,” Dylan said. Brenda smiled and locked the door and pulled him to the bedroom and closed the door and they collapsed on the bed kissing and they removed each other’s clothes and made love. They went to sleep afterwards.

Three weeks later, Brenda found out she was pregnant and they shared the news with everyone and Kelly announced that she was expecting so Brenda, Valerie, and Kelly got together to shop and have lunch and talk about babies. Dylan, Brandon, and David sat there watching the girls.

        “All of them pregnant at the same time, guys, we are in trouble,” Dylan said.

        “Well, Valerie is further along than Brenda and Kelly,” David said.

        “Yeah, but still, three women and hormones, we are in trouble,” Dylan said.

        “We are so in trouble,” Brandon said.  Steve and Clare came in and Clare joined the girls.

        “Make that four pregnant women, Clare’s pregnant,” Steve said.

        “Oh boy,” Brandon said.

        “We are so doomed,” David said covering his face with his hands.

        “Joe has it easy, Donna will be the only one not pregnant,” Steve said.

        “Back in high school, when I was choosing between Brenda and Kelly, I had visions of my futures with them,” Dylan said.

        “And?” Steve asked.

        “Brenda gave me kids, Kelly spent all my money,” Dylan said.

        “Well, one kid on the way,” Brandon said.

        “I know, but I should have chose Brenda, she’s my soulmate, I know that for sure,” Dylan said.

        “But you said Kelly was,” Brandon said.

        “I thought so but now I know for sure, Brenda is my soulmate, I can’t imagine my life without her,” Dylan said.

        “Well, one thing is for sure, we are four lucky guys,” Brandon said.

        “Yup,” David, Steve, and Dylan said.
