Nick arrived at a club in town where the band was touring. They have girls working there who strip down to their bra and panties and sometimes a customer would request a private dance in one of the private rooms. Nick sat down and watched the girls dance onstage. He saw one girl dancing and he just watched her. He went to the owner and told him that he wanted the girl for a private dance and paid him and went to a private room and sat down and waited. His cell phone rang and he looked it and saw Brian’s number. He answered it.

        “Yeah, Frick,” Nick said.

        “Hey Frack, you okay, man,” Brian said.

        “You bet, I’m doing great, I’m out at this club, and no, I’m not drinking, I’ve been drinking soda,” Nick said.

        “That’s good, man, Leighanne wanted to invite you to dinner so that’s why I was calling,” Brian said. Nick smiled.

        “Nah, got plans, but I will take a raincheck,” Nick said.

        “You got it, I’ll tell her, see ya in the morning,” Brian said. Nick hung up and sat there. The door opened and closed and the girl stood by the door. She looked terrified.

        “Hi there, you can come in, I’m not going to hurt you, I promise,” Nick said.

        “How do I know for sure?” she asked.

        “What is your name?” Nick asked.

        “Hayley, what’s yours,” she said.

        “I’m Nick, but don’t tell anyone, I’m Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys,” Nick said. She came closer and looked at him.

        “Why did you pick me?” Hayley asked.

        “I saw you and watched you and for some reason, I couldn’t stop watching you, you’re beautiful and I want to tell you that I haven’t been drinking, I’m in my right mind and I’m serious, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen,” Nick said.

        “I never done a private dance before, there are other girls who are more experienced than me,” Hayley said.

        “I didn’t want anyone else, I wanted you,” Nick said looking her up and down and knew she looked hot in the short dress she had on.

        “You could have anybody, I’m just a nobody,” Hayley said turning away from him. He came up behind her.

        “I could have anybody, but I wanted you, Hayley, no one else,” Nick said. Hayley turned and looked at him and looked into his eyes and pushed him to the chair and did a dance for him and she ended the dance by straddling his lap. There was a knock at the door. Hayley got up and opened it and saw her boss.

        “Just making sure you were okay, oh and Hayley, since this is your first private dance, there are no limits to what you can do, no rules, it is up to the customer on what they want to do,” he said. She nodded and closed the door. Hayley turned and looked at Nick.

        “So is there anything else you want to do?” Hayley said. She went over and straddled his lap again. He smiled and ran his hands up her legs and ran his hands up her dress and cupped her bottom and pulled her closer to him.

        “Yes, there is, you see, I have a little problem and you caused it so you are the only one who can fix it,” Nick said taking her hand and putting it on his hard on. She looked at him.

        “You were serious, I did that to you?” Hayley asked. Nick smiled and nodded. She looked at him and smiled and moved down off his lap and opened his pants and reached in and pulled his length out and smiled as he moaned. She took him into her mouth and sucked him. She traced the head with her tongue.

        “Oh god!” Nick moaned as he came into her mouth. She swallowed all he had to offer and got back up and straddled him again and kissed him deeply, letting him taste himself on her tongue. He moved his hand down to between her legs and he slipped two fingers inside her. She threw her head back and he moved his fingers within her. She cried out and came on his hand. She rested her head against him.

        “What time do you get off?” Nick asked. She looked at the clock.

        “Now,” Hayley said.

        “You are coming with me, back to my hotel,” Nick said. Hayley nodded and got up and straightened her clothes and he fixed himself and they went out and she got her stuff and they went back to his hotel and went to his room and went in and closed the door.

Chapter 2

Nick led Hayley to the bedroom. He picked her up and laid her on the bed and got on top of her.

        “You won’t get in trouble for this, will you?” Nick asked.

        “Off the clock, my time,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her softly and moved down to her neck. She moaned as he licked her neck. He removed her clothes and his and he positioned himself on top of her.

        “Are you on the pill?” Nick asked.

        “I just started them so they aren’t effective yet, still go a week before they are effective,” Hayley said. Nick reached into his pants for his wallet and got out a condom and slid it on and kissed her deeply as he pushed himself inside her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pushed him deeper inside her. They moved together as he went faster and harder. She ran her hands up and down his back. She cried out as she came around him. Feeling her tighten around him caused him to explode inside her. He collapsed on top of her and buried his face in her neck. She held him close before he moved off of her and laid beside her. He pulled her close and held her close to him.

        “That was incredible, so incredible that I never want to stop,” Nick said moving over her.

        “But it will have to once you leave town, this is my home, Nick, my life is here,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “I don’t want this to be a one time thing,” Nick said.

        “Who said anything about that, you can always come back when the tour is over,” Hayley said laying on top of him.

        “I know we just met but I want to be with you every night and be like this with you every night,” Nick said stroking her cheek.  Hayley looked at him and kissed him deeply.

        “Okay, if it’s okay with everyone else, I’ll go with you,” Hayley said. There was a knock at the door. Nick groaned and got up and got dressed and went to the door and opened it and saw Brian, AJ, Howie, and Kevin standing there.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “Nick, we are worried about you,” Kevin said.

        “Why, I’m fine,” Nick said.

        “Going to clubs?” Howie asked.

        “I didn’t drink, I’m completely sober,” Nick said.

        “Nick, no one goes to clubs and doesn’t drink,” AJ said.

        “He is telling the truth,” Hayley said coming to the door.

        “Who are you?” Kevin asked.

        “I’m Hayley, I work at the club Nick went to, he didn’t drink, I know he didn’t,” Hayley said.

        “How would you know this?” AJ asked.

        “Well, I’m here with him, been kissing him, no trace of liquor on his tongue, his eyes are normal, I’ve seen a lot of drunks and drinkers in the club, I would know, but Nick, I could tell he’s been staying away from the liquor, the club does serve soda, I asked the bartender before I left, he said all Nick ordered was Coca-Cola,” Hayley said.

        “Are you a stripper?” AJ asked.

        “I dance at the club, I perform onstage, but the rules are down to the underwear and bra only, no nudity allowed, but no one knows that what I wear is my bikini,” Hayley said.

        “How long have you worked there?” Howie asked.

        “One month so far, Nick asked me to quit and go with him on the road, I said okay if it’s okay with everyone else, I don’t want to be anywhere I’m not wanted,” Hayley said.

        “Nick,” Kevin said.

        “Kevin, I saw her onstage and I realized that she is the one for me, she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and that was with her clothes on, just being with her is amazing, I want to be with her and get to know her, I’m 27 years old, I know what I want, and I want Hayley,” Nick said.

        “How old are you, Hayley?” AJ asked.

        “I’m the same age as Nick,” Hayley said.

        “I don’t know about this,” Kevin said.

        “Kevin, it’s Nick’s life, not yours, it’s his choice, he’s not 14 anymore, it’s been 13 years, he’s grown up,” Brian said. Kevin looked at Nick who put his arm around Hayley.

        “I’m sorry, Brian’s right, if she wants to come, she can, I can’t stop it,” Kevin said.

        “Kevin, I know you are just being my big brother and I appreciate your concern, I know what I’m doing,” Nick said.

        “I know,” Kevin said. He hugged Nick. The guys left. Nick looked at Hayley and smiled.

Chapter 3

The next day, after Hayley talked to her boss and got her stuff. She joined Nick in his hotel room and they laid on the bed. They removed each other’s clothes and Nick slid a condom on and they made love. Nick laid on top of her and they kissed. There was a knock at the door. Nick groaned and got up and got dressed. Hayley got dressed. Nick went and opened the door and saw his mother standing there. Nick glared at her.

        “What do you want,” Nick said.

        “I came to see my eldest son,” Jane said.

        “Well, you’ve seen me,” Nick said.

        “Nick, why are you treating me this way?” Jane asked.

        “Because every time you want to see me, you want money, get a job, Mom,” Nick said. He closed the door. He turned and saw Hayley.

        “All your mom sees in you is a big money sign?” Hayley asked.

        “Yeah, why do you think I got into music in the first place, so I can make her money,” Nick said. Hayley came over and hugged him.

        “Well, I know one thing,” Hayley said.

        “What’s that,” Nick said.

        “I’m not after your money, I just want you, I know we just met yesterday but you make me crazy wanting you all the time,” Hayley said pulling him back into the bedroom. She pushed Nick on the bed and climbed on top of him and removed his clothes and hers. She slid a condom on him and with her on top, they made love. She collapsed on top of him afterwards. He rolled them over and kissed her deeply.

        “Be my girl, Hayley, I want to be with you all the time,” Nick said.

        “I will be your girl for as long as you want me,” Hayley said.

        “I want you all the time,” Nick said. They got up and took a shower and got dressed and went down to the lobby to the café and sat at a table. Nick looked up and saw his mother come into the café and groaned. Jane came over to their table.

        “Nick,” Jane said.

        “Go away, Mother,” Nick said. Kevin, Brian, Howie, and AJ came into the café and saw Jane and stood back.

        “You are still my son, no matter what, I took care of you for 18 years before you went off on your own,” Jane said.

        “No, Mom, you took care of me for 14 years, when I joined the group, Kevin, Brian, Howie, AJ, and Denise took care of me, you weren’t around, you were busy living off my money, I am no longer a kid, I’m a grown man who can take care of himself and his money, you can get a job and take care of yourself, you are done living off me and Aaron, Dad said he has control of Aaron’s money, maybe that’s why you are asking me for money, because you can’t get Aaron’s, well, I am not giving you any money, I don’t owe you money, please leave, Mom, go home, because no matter what, you are not getting one cent from me or Aaron,” Nick said. Jane looked at Hayley.

        “All your money going to this slut?” Jane asked coldly. Hayley’s eyes widened and stood up.

        “Excuse me but I don’t know you and you don’t know me, don’t be calling me names when you don’t know one thing about me,” Hayley said. The guys came up to the table.

        “Jane, enough, Hayley isn’t a slut, she is our friend and you will leave her alone and you will leave Nick alone,” Kevin said.

        “I will be glad to, if I get money,” Jane said.

        “Nope, sorry, no money, you leave them be or there will be a restraining order against you,” Kevin said.

        “But I’m his mother!” Jane said.

        “You can be his mother if you don’t ask for money, that’s all he wants, he doesn’t want a money grubbing mother, he wants a mother,” Kevin said.

        “But I need money!” Jane said.

        “Then leave and find a job, okay, no one is giving you any money,” Kevin said. Jane glared at Nick and Hayley. She walked out of the café. The guys sat down.

        “I’m your friend, huh,” Hayley said.

        “Yup,” Kevin said.

        “Hey, you are a part of this family if you are with Nick,” Brian said.

        “She is,” Nick said holding Hayley’s hand.

        “Plus we like seeing Nick happy, if it’s you that is making him happy, then we are happy,” Howie said. They were talking when Jane came back in with two cops. Hayley nudged Nick. He stood up. Kevin stood up and turned.

        “Mom, what are you doing!” Nick said.

        “Protecting myself, officers, arrest her, she assaulted me,” Jane said.

        “Wait a minute, she never touched you, officers, we are witnesses and there was no hitting, the table was between them and she never touched Jane,” Kevin said.

        “He’s right, officers, she was by my side the whole time my mom was here, my mom is trying to get money from me and I said no, this is a family dispute, this is my girlfriend, Hayley, it is clear that my mom just wants money and will do anything to get it from me, but I don’t owe her money,” Nick said.

        “Jane, give it up,” Brian said. Jane looked at the guys and looked at Nick and Hayley.

        “Fine, I’m sorry, they are right, I’m just trying to get money from my son,” Jane said.

        “If he said no, he said no, don’t press phony charges again, Mrs. Carter,” one officer said. They left. Jane looked at the guys and Hayley.

        “Mom, I can’t believe you,” Nick said. Jane looked at her son and saw that he was very angry.

        “I’m sorry, I won’t bother you again,” Jane said. She went out the door. They sat down and talked about what happened.

Chapter 4

Hayley laid in bed watching Nick sleep. She got up and got dressed and went out the door and walked out of the hotel and went to the beach and walked along the beach. She couldn’t believe how her life was. She thought she would have to make a living on a stage dancing and stripping down to her undergarments but fate was on her side. She met Nick and she realized that she was willing to give up her lifestyle to be with him. Her boss told her she could always come back. Now was not the case because she was never going back to that life. She sat down and stared at the ocean and thought about everything. She looked at the time and got up. She headed back to the hotel to talk to Nick about taking college classes. She walked in and saw Kevin and Brian in the lobby. They saw her and ran to her. Brian hugged her.

        “Thank god, Nick’s scared to death that something happened to you,” Brian said.

        “He was asleep, I went for a walk,” Hayley said.

        “You okay, Jane didn’t scare you away, did she?” Kevin asked.

        “No, I had to think about some things, and I realized that being with Nick has changed my life, my boss said I will always have a job at the club, but I don’t want to go back, I would rather be with Nick than do anything else, I don’t want to go back to the life I lived before I met Nick, I was thinking of taking some college classes, get a degree in something, have a better job,” Hayley said.

        “Come on, Nick is up there pacing the floor, we better get up there before he puts a ditch in the floor,” Kevin said. They went up to Nick’s hotel room. They opened the door and saw Nick pacing. Howie and AJ were talking.

        “Nick, we found her,” Brian said. Nick ran over and hugged her tight.

        “Thank god, I was so worried about you,” Nick said.

        “I’m sorry, I should have left a note, you were sleeping, I didn’t want to wake you, I went for a walk on the beach and lost track of time, I was thinking about stuff,” Hayley said.

        “What about?” Nick asked as Brian, Kevin, Howie, and AJ left the room. Nick picked her up and laid her on the bed and got on top of her. She hugged him.

        “I’m giving up everything, Nick, just to be with you,” Hayley said.

        “What, you mean your job,” Nick said.

        “I’m not going back, ever, I just want to be with you, maybe take some college classes, online, I want to be with you, Nick, always, I want my past to stay in my past, I want to focus on the present and the future, and focus on us,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her deeply. There was knocking on the door. Nick groaned and got up and went out and opened the door and saw Brian, Howie, AJ, and Kevin. They came in and turned on the TV.

        “You heard it here, folks, Nick Carter’s new girlfriend worked at the Fantasies club in Miami where they have dancing, private dances, stripping, back to you guys in the studio,” the reporter said. Howie turned off the TV.

        “What the hell, who found that out!” Nick said. Hayley came out.

        “What’s going on,” Hayley said.

        “Someone found out what you used to do,” AJ said.

        “What!” Hayley cried. She sat down.

        “Mom,” Nick said.

        “Sounds like Jane,” Brian said. Nick went out the door. Kevin followed him. Hayley leaned forward and held her head in her hands. Howie and Brian sat beside her and AJ knelt in front of her.

        “We can counter it, we can make a statement, there can’t be any proof,” AJ said.

        “I wanted to put that part of my life behind me,” Hayley said crying. Brian hugged her.

        “We need to call a press conference, you will need to be there,” Howie said.

        “Nick won’t agree to it,” Hayley said.

        “She’s right, Nick likes his private life, private, hardly anyone found out that he was with Willa until she got a record deal,” AJ said.

        “I don’t want to be in the spotlight, guys, I just want to be backstage, out of the spotlight, I know I did the dancing and everything but I want that part of my life in the past, but it can’t because I can’t get away from it because something always reminds me,” Hayley said.

        “We’ll get past this, Hayley, we will help you, you are with Nick now and you are now protected by us, we take care of our own, we will not let anyone hurt you,” AJ said.

        “I just want to know who told the press about my life,” Hayley said.

        “Probably Jane,” AJ said.

        “She said she wouldn’t bother us again,” Hayley said.

        “Yeah, well, she probably didn’t hold her end of the bargain,” Howie said. Nick and Kevin came in and sat down.

        “Well?” AJ asked.

        “It was my mother, she won’t bother us again, got a restraining order, she can’t come near us or talk to the press, and we made her recount her statement to say she lied about Hayley, so you are in the clear, baby,” Nick said hugging Hayley.

        “I hope so,” Hayley said.

        “We will just deny it if the truth does come out,” Nick said.

        “I don’t want to be in the spotlight, Nick,” Hayley said.

        “You won’t be, not if I can help it, you won’t,” Nick said. Hayley leaned against him and closed her eyes.

Chapter 5

Hayley went to bed. Nick sat there and looked at the guys. He leaned forward and held his head in his hands. Brian sat down beside him.

        “Frack, we are with you guys all the way, no matter what,” Brian said.

        “Why can’t my mom just leave us be, why does she have to be a bitch,” Nick said.

        “She just wants money, she wants you to support her for a living,” Kevin said.

        “I am not giving her any money, I considered giving her some, but after this shit, no way in hell am I giving her a cent,” Nick said.

        “Don’t let her win, Nick,” Kevin said.

        “I’m not,” Nick said.

That night, Hayley sat in Nick’s dressing room. She laid on the couch. The door opened and closed and she looked and saw Jane standing there.

        “Get out, Nick doesn’t want you here,” Hayley said.

        “You don’t belong here,” Jane said.

        “That is where you are wrong, Jane, you don’t belong here, Nick and the guys want me here, I’m one of them now, Brian said so,” Hayley said. Jane grabbed Hayley’s arm but Hayley pushed Jane away from her. She went out and got Billy. He grabbed Jane.

        “Jane, you are not welcome here, Nick said to keep you away,” Billy said. The guys came backstage and saw Billy holding Jane.

        “That is it, Mom, get out of my life!” Nick yelled.

        “She said I didn’t belong here, she is wrong,” Hayley said. Kevin walked over to Jane.

        “Jane, Hayley belongs here, she is part of the Backstreet Family, you lost your privilege of being a part of this family when you divorced Bob, there is a restraining order against you, you just violated it,” Kevin said. Howie called the cops. They came and took Jane away. Nick looked at Hayley and took her to his dressing room and sat down with her.

        “We are getting Kristin and Leighanne on the road with us, you will not be alone again,” Nick said hugging her close.

        “Nick, maybe I should just go home, your mother hates me and sees me as a threat to her not getting money, and she is going to keep coming after me until she gets money from you,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “Hayley, no, I want you with me, she is just jealous because I’m happy and she’s not,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

        “So she’s destroying your life,” Hayley said.

        “She wants me to be alone like she is, but I am not going to let her,” Nick said. He kissed her and got up and went out the door and saw Brian.

        “Make sure Hayley doesn’t go anywhere, she’s talking of leaving,” Nick said.

        “You got it, Frack,” Brian said. He went into Nick’s dressing room and sat down.

        “Brian, what is going on,” Hayley said.

        “Nick said you’re leaving,” Brian said.

        “I said I should go home because it is the right thing to do, me being around you guys and my past coming up will hurt you guys,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, we said before, we will deny it, we can get the press to believe us,” Brian said.

        “Brian,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, if you left now, it would destroy Nick, you make him happy and we want him to be happy, before he met you, he was lonely, partying all the time, but since he met you, he’s been the happiest we’ve seen him in a long time, this thing between Jane and Nick has been going on since long before you came into the picture, the reason Nick was pushed into music was so he could support his family, Jane pushed him into music so she can live off of the money, she is greedy and she doesn’t care about how Nick feels, he may love music and being in the group, but he misses his childhood and the fact that he never got to go to high school, but he wouldn’t change anything if he could, Nick has a new family now, me and the guys, and you, you are a part of this family now, the Backstreet family, and we are not letting you go, I can see how Nick looks at you, it’s the same way I look at my wife, the same way Kevin looks at Kristin, he loves you, Hayley,” Brian said.

        “He hasn’t said anything,” Hayley said.

        “Maybe because he’s afraid you won’t say it back,” Brian said.

        “I love him, Brian, I do,” Hayley said.

        “Then don’t think about leaving, like I said, if you leave, it will destroy Nick,” Brian said. Hayley looked at him and nodded.

        “Now that I think about it, I can’t leave him, I’m in love with him, Brian, and if I left him, it wouldn’t only destroy him, it would destroy me,” Hayley said. Brian smiled.

        “We will take care of you, Kevin, Howie, AJ, and I consider you a sister,” Brian said.

        “I think of you guys as big brothers,” Hayley said. Brian smiled and hugged her. The door opened and closed. They pulled apart and saw Leighanne standing there.

        “Hey baby, this is Hayley,” Brian said. Leighanne smiled.

        “Hi Hayley, I’m Brian’s wife, Leighanne,” Leighanne said sitting down beside her husband.

        “Nice to meet you, Brian talks about you all the time,” Hayley said.

        “Better be good things,” Leighanne said.

        “Yup, all good, I don’t think Brian could say anything bad about his own wife,” Hayley said.

        “I was just telling Hayley that me, Howie, AJ, and Kevin think of her as a sister,” Brian said.

        “Good,” Leighanne said. Nick came in and saw them.

        “Hey Leighanne,” Nick said. Leighanne hugged Nick.

        “Brian told me about what your mother’s been doing, I can’t believe her,” Leighanne said as they sat down.

        “Yeah, well, she won’t be a problem anymore, I told her she was no longer my mother, only if she kept coming after me and the ones I care about,” Nick said.

        “So you gave her a choice, either leave you be and be your mother or keep it up and she no longer has a son,” Brian said.

        “Yeah,” Nick said.

        “What did she pick?” Leighanne asked.

        “To leave me be, I don’t think she wanted to lose me as a son,” Nick said.

        “She does have a heart,” Brian said. Nick looked at Hayley.

        “She called the press and said she lied about your past,” Nick said.

        “I hope they leave me alone,” Hayley said.

        “They better,” Brian said. They all sat back and talked.

Epilogue

A year went by. Hayley and Nick had gotten married and were living in Tampa, Florida. Nick and his mother had a long talk and Jane came around and accept Hayley as a part of Nick’s life and accepted her as her daughter-in-law. Hayley found out she was three months pregnant. She told Nick and he was excited and happy. Hayley went out back and stood on the patio, looking at the ocean. Nick came out and hugged her from behind.

        “Hey baby, you okay?” Nick asked.

        “Yeah, just thinking of how things are now,” Hayley said.

        “I like how things are,” Nick said kissing her neck.

        “I am so happy, I never thought I would be this happy and you have made me this way, I love you,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her lips tenderly.

        “I love you, too, and you have made me happy, too,” Nick said.

        “I never want to lose this,” Hayley said.

        “Me either, baby, my love and heart is all I have to give to you,” Nick said. Hayley smiled and rested her head back against him as they stared at the ocean knowing they would never be apart.
