Hayley ran down the hall to her best friend’s room. Nick has been her best friend since they were babies. She just found out that her husband, Mike, had been killed in a car accident. The police said that a drunk driver hit Mike’s car, killing him instantly. She got to Nick’s room and knocked on the door. She heard mumbling and the door opened and Nick stood there in his boxers.

        “Hayley, what is it, it’s the middle of the night,” Nick said. Hayley said nothing and ran into Nick’s arms and hugged him and cried. Nick closed the door and sat her down on the couch.

        “Hayley, sweetie, what happened,” Nick said.

        “Mike was killed in a car accident tonight, a drunk driver hit Mike’s car, it killed him instantly,” Hayley cried. Nick hugged her close. He reached over and picked up his cell phone and called the guys. He leaned against the back of the couch and held Hayley as she cried. The door opened and Brian, Howie, and AJ came in. Brian sat down beside Nick.

        “She’s asleep, Nick,” Brian said. Nick picked her up and carried her to his bed and laid her down and went back out and sat down.

        “What happened,” AJ said.

        “Mike was killed in a car accident,” Nick said.

        “Oh man,” Brian said.

        “She cried herself to sleep, we have to be there for her,” Howie said.

        “I’m not leaving her side, guys, she’s my best friend, she’s always there for me,” Nick said.

        “We know, Nick, we’ll talk to management to see about postponing some of the tour dates so we can all go home and help her through this,” Brian said.

        “Better call Kev,” AJ said. Brian called his cousin.

        “He’ll meet up with us,” Brian said.

        “She’ll need Leighanne and Kristin,” AJ said.

        “I’m sure Kevin won’t leave her behind since he knows what happened, he knows that Hayley will need her two best girl friends,” Brian said.

        “NO!” They heard Hayley cry out. Nick ran to the bedroom and saw Hayley sitting up. Nick sat down and pulled her into his arms. She held onto him and cried.

        “I’m here, Hayley,” Nick said.

        “Oh god, Nicky, what am I going to do!” Hayley cried.

        “I don’t know, sweetie, but I’m going to be there for you, okay, I’ll help you get through this, I’m not leaving your side for anything, okay,” Nick said. Hayley nodded and hugged him.

        “I don’t know what I would do without you, Nicky,” Hayley said.

        “You would go crazy,” Nick said. Hayley nodded and rested her head against his chest as he held her. She saw Brian, AJ, and Howie at the door. She pulled away and reached for Brian.

        “Brian,” Hayley said. Brian sat down and hugged her.

        “Hey sweetie, the guys and I are going to be there for you, we are going to talk to management about postponing a few shows so we can be there with you and help you with everything,” Brian said. Hayley smiled and hugged him.

        “Howie and I will talk to management,” AJ said. They hugged Hayley and left.  Hayley leaned against Brian.

        “Does Leighanne know?” Hayley asked.

        “I’ll call and tell her, I called Kevin, he’ll meet up with us and I’m sure he’ll have Kristin with him,” Brian said.

        “I’ll get your stuff and you can stay here with me,” Nick said. Hayley nodded. He went to get her stuff. Brian held Hayley.

        “I don’t know what I would do without you guys, especially Nick,” Hayley said.

        “We are your big brothers, Hayley, we are here for you,” Brian said.

        “I’m glad,” Hayley said.

Three months went by. Hayley slowly got over losing Mike. She has been spending a lot of time with Nick.  She went to visit her mother and then she headed to Nick’s.

Nick was sitting on his couch, playing video games when the doorbell rang. He got up and opened it and saw Kristin there crying. He pulled her in and closed the door and hugged her.

        “Hey, what’s wrong,” Nick said.

        “Kevin is having an affair, with Hayley!” Kristin cried.

        “What, no, he wouldn’t do that, she wouldn’t do that,” Nick said.

        “I saw them in bed together, Nick, I know what I saw!” Kristin said crying. He sat her down.

        “Oh my god,” Nick said. What no one knew was that Nick had fallen in love with Hayley but was scared to tell her.

        “I can’t believe this, he told me he’d die without me, I just found out that I’m three months pregnant, I went home to tell him that our dreams have come true and found him in bed with Hayley, they didn’t see me,” Kristin said crying. The front door opened and closed.

        “Nicky, where are you, you won’t believe what I found out,” Hayley said coming into the living room and saw Kristin crying.

        “What’s going on,” Hayley said.

        “What is going on is that you’ve been caught, Hayley,” Nick said.

        “Huh,” Hayley said.

        “I just came from my house, Hayley, I saw you in bed with my husband,” Kristin said.

        “I was in bed with Kevin, how can that be if I was at my mom’s,” Hayley said.

        “What,” Kristin said.

        “How long ago was this?” Hayley asked.

        “Half hour,” Kristin said.

        “I was at my mom’s all day, call and ask her, I got there at eight this morning and came straight from her house to here,” Hayley said. Nick called her mother and talked to her. He hung up.

        “She’s right,” Nick said.

        “I don’t know what is going on but I would never destroy someone’s marriage,” Hayley said.

        “I am so sorry, Hayley, I thought it was you,” Kristin said.

        “It wasn’t, I would never do anything to hurt one of my best friends,” Hayley said. Nick smiled.

        “I better go and confront Kevin with what I saw and find out who he was with,” Kristin said. She left. Hayley sat down.

        “So what did you find out?” Nick asked.

        “According to the will Mike had done before he died, he left everything to his mother, he left nothing to me, and he was flat broke, he spent all the money on his mother, I guess his mother was more important than me or he decided he didn’t love me anymore,” Hayley said.

        “Oh man,” Nick said.

        “I have nothing, no money, nothing, I will have to sell the house,” Hayley said.

        “I’ll give you the money,” Nick said.

        “Actually, I want to sell the house, I can’t be in that house knowing that my own husband didn’t want me to have anything,” Hayley said.

        “Move in here with me, Hayley, I could use the company, plus I like being with you,” Nick said. Hayley smiled and hugged him.

        “Thanks, Nicky, I will do that, I don’t know what I would do without you,” Hayley said. She smiled at him and left to make the arrangements and pack up the house. Nick sat there and smiled. He was glad she took his offer to move in. Now the stage was set for him to convince her that they belong together.

Chapter 2

Three weeks later, Hayley was completely moved into Nick’s house. They learned that Kristin had forgiven Kevin. Kristin, Kevin, Brian, Leighanne, AJ, and Howie came over and they had a barbecue. Hayley laid on the lounge chair in her bikini, talking with Kristin and Leighanne, unaware that Nick had his eyes on her. Brian noticed and pulled Nick inside.

        “Frack, do you have the hots for Hayley?” Brian asked. Nick nodded.

        “Yeah, I do, I want to tell her but I’m scared she won’t feel the same way,” Nick said.

        “You won’t know until you tell her,” Brian said. Nick looked out back and nodded.

Three hours later, the guys and girls left and Nick laid on a lounge chair. Hayley came out and saw him laying there and she smiled and jumped on him and straddled him.  He looked at her.

        “That was fun, having the gang here,” Hayley said smiling.

        “Yeah, it was,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him. He put his hands on her back. Hayley pulled back and looked at him.

        “Nicky,” Hayley said.

        “Yeah,” Nick said.

        “Do you want to have some fun?” Hayley asked. Nick looked at her.

        “What kind of fun?” Nick asked. Hayley smiled and reached around and untied her bikini top strings and let the top fall on Nick’s chest. She took Nick’s hands and put them on her chest.

        “Touch me, Nicky,” Hayley said.

        “Uh, I am,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

        “Nicky, I know you want me, I can feel it,” Hayley said. She reached behind her and covered his hard length with her hand. He groaned.

        “I know I did this to you, I know you want to fuck me, I want you to fuck me, Nicky,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “You sure?” Nick asked. Hayley grabbed his head and kissed him hungrily. Nick sat up and grabbed her hips and pulled her against him and kissed her neck and moved down and took a nipple in his mouth and sucked deep. Hayley moaned and threw her head back.

        “Let’s go inside, Nicky,” Hayley said. He got up with her in his arms and carried her inside and up the stairs to his room and he sat on the bed with her in his lap. He kissed her deeply as he removed his trunks. He stood them up and he removed her bikini bottoms and picked her up and wrapped her legs around his waist as he pushed her against the wall.

        “Oh god, Nicky, fuck me now,” Hayley said. He pushed himself inside her. He went fast and hard. She held onto him and buried her face in his neck. She cried out as she came and he came spilling his seed deep inside her. They stood there holding onto each other. He moved them over to the bed and collapsed on it and pulled her close.

        “Wow,” Nick said.

        “Yeah, wow,” Hayley said resting her head on his chest.

        “So what happens now?” Nick asked.

        “I have no clue, but I know I don’t want this to stop,” Hayley said.

        “Me either,” Nick said. She got on top of him.

        “How long have you wanted me?” Hayley asked.

        “For three months now,” Nick said. She laid on top of him and kissed him softly.

        “Nicky, I want to talk about this, now I am scared to get into a relationship with you for fear it could ruin our friendship, so here is what I propose, we can be fuck buddies, no strings, no commitments, we live together, we can fuck together,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “I can’t settle for just that, Hayley,” Nick said.

        “Nick, it’s that or nothing,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “Hayley, I’m in love with you, I am so deep in love with you that I can’t think straight,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him and got up.

        “Nick, I can’t love you back like that, it’s too hard for me to,” Hayley said. She grabbed her bikini bottoms and ran out of the room. Nick groaned and hit the bed with his fists. He got up and got dressed and went downstairs and got his keys and wallet.

        “Where are you going?” Hayley asked coming downstairs.

        “Out,” Nick said.

        “Why,” Hayley said.

        “It doesn’t matter, I’m just the best friend, I tell you how I feel and it gets thrown back in my face, I need to get out of here,” Nick said. He went out the door.

Chapter 3

Hayley went up to her room and sat down and picked up the phone and called Leighanne and told her everything.

        “Hayley, you have to tell him you feel the same way,” Leighanne said.

        “I know, what if he doesn’t come home,” Hayley said.

        “I’ll send Brian out to find him, okay, chances are that he went out on his boat for awhile, if that is the case, Brian will call, he always answers his phone for Brian,” Leighanne said.

        “Thanks, bye,” Hayley said. She laid on the bed. She heard the front door open and close. She ran downstairs and saw Nick. She ran to him and hugged him.

        “Nicky!” Hayley said holding onto him tight.

        “No more seduction, Hayley,” Nick said.

        “Nick, I realized something after you left, I do feel the same way about you, I was too stupid to see it, I want to be with you, forever and always, you are the one,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “Are you sure about that?” Nick asked.

        “Yes, Nick, I love you!” Hayley said.

        “You serious,” Nick said.

        “Nick, god, I want to be with you, I want to make love with you every night, I want you to hold me every night, I want to be your everything!” Hayley said. Nick stood there.

            “Sorry, I don’t feel the same way anymore, you ruined everything,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him. She ran upstairs and slammed the door to her bedroom and collapsed on the bed, crying. She picked up the phone and called Leighanne and told her what happened. She hung up and cried. She fell asleep crying. (*Author’s Note-She has been dreaming since the beginning of Chapter 2). Hayley felt someone shaking her and she woke up and saw Nick sitting on the bed.

        “Hey sleepyhead, the guys and girls are here for the barbecue,” Nick said. Hayley sat up.

        “Oh,” Hayley said.

        “You okay, girl, you came up to change into your swimsuit and never came back down, came up to see what was up and found you sleeping,” Nick said.

        “So you don’t hate me?” Hayley asked.

        “Why would I hate you, Hayley, you haven’t done anything to make me hate you,” Nick said.

        “Oh god,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, sweetie, are you sure you’re okay,” Nick said.

        “Are you in love with me?” Hayley said. Nick’s eyes widened.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “Tell me the truth, Nicky, are you in love with me?” Hayley asked. Nick sighed and nodded.

        “Yeah,” Nick said. Hayley kissed him deeply. Nick pulled back and looked at her. 

        “I’m in love with you, too,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her tenderly.

        “Be my girl?” Nick asked.

        “Yes,” Hayley said. Nick hugged her. They went down and told everyone they were a couple. Nick talked with the guys while the girls went and talked away from them. Hayley told Leighanne and Kristin about her dream.

        “It was just a dream, Hayley, it might have been real if you hadn’t told him you felt the same way he did,” Leighanne said.

        “I know,” Hayley said. The guys came over. Brian cuddled up with Leighanne while Kevin cuddled up with Kristin. Nick sat with Hayley. Howie and AJ went to cook the food on the grill.  Hayley’s cell phone rang. She looked at it and rolled her eyes and got up and went inside to take the call. Nick sat there talking with Brian and Kevin about a song he wrote. He looked up and saw AJ motioning him to go inside. Nick got up and went inside and saw Hayley leaning on the counter, crying. He went to her and took her in his arms. She cried on his shoulder.

        “Honey, what’s wrong,” Nick said.

        “I was married to the biggest asshole on earth,” Hayley said.

        “What happened,” Nick said.

        “That was Beth, Mike’s mom, she said that Mike has been seeing this girl since before he even married me, the whole time he was married to me, he’s been fucking this girl on the side, that is why he didn’t leave me anything, worse of all, she had his kid, he had a son, his son got everything, he didn’t want me to know that he had been unfaithful so he left everything to his mother to give to his son, I was just the wife for show, he had some other woman for his bed,” Hayley said.

        “That bastard, if he was still alive, I would beat the crap out of him,” Nick said. Hayley wiped her face and looked up at Nick.

        “I want to forget about him, I want to move on and I know you can help me, Nicky,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her lips softly and hugged her.

        “I will never ever hurt you,” Nick said. Hayley rested her head on his chest.

        “You haven’t yet and I know you never will,” Hayley said. Nick kissed her head.

That night, after the guys and girls left. Hayley laid in a lounge chair looking at the stars. Nick came out and sat down on her lounge chair. He sat in the lounge chair beside her and she moved to straddle him. He put his hands on her hips and smiled at her.

        “It was fun,” Nick said. Hayley smiled and leaned down and kissed him softly.

        “Yeah, it was,” Hayley said. She kissed him again and got up and went inside and up to her bedroom and went into her bathroom and got the tub ready for a bath. She heard the door shut and turned and saw Nick standing there, smiling.

        “Can I join you?” Nick asked. Hayley went over to him and ran her hands down his chest.

        “I was wondering if you were going to,” Hayley said. Nick kissed her hungrily as he ran his hands up her back and began untying her bikini strings. Her top fell to the floor. He slid his hands down and pushed down her bikini bottoms and she kicked them off. He explored her body with his hands. She pushed his trunks off. He pulled back and gazed at her body and pulled her close.

        “Let’s get in the bath, baby,” Nick said. He made sure it was ready and picked her up and stepped into the tub and sat down with her in his lap. She straddled him and they kissed deeply. Their tongues exploring each other’s mouths. His hands went down and grabbed her bottom and pulled her closer and she felt the tip of him inside her.  She looked in his eyes and saw lust and she moved closer and completely took him inside her body. They moaned as they became one. He held her hips as he moved inside her.  She threw her head back as she came around him. He came and spilled himself deep inside her. They sat there holding each other. He pulled out of her and turned her around and pulled her against him and wrapped his arms around her. He nuzzled her neck.

        “You definitely made me forget and move on,” Hayley said.

        “Good, I am now more deeply in love with you than before,” Nick said nibbling her earlobe.

        “Same here,”  Hayley said resting her head against him. They continued with the bath and got out and dried each other off and he picked her up and carried her to her bed and laid her down and laid on top of her. They kissed deeply.  Nick smiled and got up and wrapped a towel around his waist and went downstairs to lock up and he came back and dropped the towel on the floor and they got into bed and they went to sleep holding each other.

Chapter 4

The  next day, Hayley, Leighanne, and Kristin went to the mall while the guys had a meeting about a new album. Hayley looked at clothes. She quietly them what Mike’s mom told her. They shook their heads and smiled at her.

        “Well, you are better off with Nicky, we know he won’t hurt you,” Kristin said.

        “I am so deep in love with him, I know he’s the only one for me, he is my forever, I can see it,” Hayley said.

        “We can, too, we always knew you and Nick were meant for each other,” Kristin said.

        “Yeah, Brian and I were talking about playing matchmaker but now we don’t have to,” Leighanne said. She was grabbed from behind, as was Kristin and Hayley. They looked and saw Brian, Kevin, and Nick.

        “You guys scared us!” Kristin said smacking her husband on her arm.

        “Sorry,” Kevin said.

        “Man, we thought we were being kidnapped by crazy people,” Leighanne said.

        “We can be crazy,” Brian said.

        “Yeah, if you be crazy, we will be calling the mental hospital for you guys,” Hayley said.

        “You wouldn’t dare do that to me?” Nick asked resting his chin on her shoulder.

        “Maybe, maybe not, only if you behave, I won’t,” Hayley said smiling at him.

        “I will behave, but if I don’t, you will just have to spank me,” Nick whispered in her ear.

        “I might have to,” Hayley whispered back. Nick smiled and hugged her and went off with the guys and Nick walked into the jewelry store.

        “Nick,” Kevin said.

        “Kevin,” Nick said.

        “Nick, are you getting an engagement ring?” Brian asked.

        “Thinking about it,” Nick said.

        “You and Hayley just got together,” Brian said.

        “Okay, and your point?” Nick asked.

        “It’s too soon,” Brian said.

        “Guys, Hayley and I have known each other forever, we are in love, I want to be with her forever, guys, she’s like a sister to you, I thought you would be supportive,” Nick said.

        “Nick, we are, and she is a sister to us, you two just became a couple, we just thought it was a little too soon to think about marriage, but it’s your choice,” Kevin said.

        “Yeah, Frack, we support you no matter what, and besides, we know Hayley, she’ll say yes,” Brian said. Nick looked at Kevin who nodded. They helped him decide on a ring and he bought the ring he wanted and put the ring box in his pocket and went out to find the girls and they quietly walked up behind the girls who were standing in front of the bridal shop. They were out of sight of the reflection of the window of the shop.

        “That is the dress I want, if the day comes,” Hayley told Leighanne and Kristin. The guys walked up to them.

        “Hey girls, ready to go?” Brian asked.

        “Yup,” Leighanne said. They walked towards the exit. They saw reporters outside and as they walked out, the reporters came up to them.

        “Kevin, is it true you are having an affair?” one reporter asked.

        “No,” Kevin said.

        “My husband is completely faithful to me, he would never have an affair, he is totally committed to me, if he had an affair, he would tell me, we don’t have secrets,” Kristin said.

        “We have proof that he has been having an affair with Hayley Hardin,” the reporter said.

        “What,” Hayley said.

        “That is not true,” Kevin said.

        “I have known Hayley since we were kids, she wouldn’t do that, she and Kristin are best friends, she wouldn’t do anything to destroy their marriage,” Nick said.

        “Any proof you have is not real, I don’t know where you get your info from or why you guys like to make celebrities look bad, but it has to stop, I never ever cheated on my wife, I love her with everything in me and I would die without her, I might as well announce that me and my wife are expecting our first child and if you think I would have an affair with my wife pregnant, you have no idea what you are talking about, now please leave us alone,” Kevin said. They continued out to Kevin’s SUV and headed to Nick’s.

        “I can’t believe those reporters, to say that me and Hayley are sleeping together, that is stupid, I would never do that to Kris,” Kevin said as he, Brian, and Nick went out back to start up the grill.

        “I think tonight’s the night, I’m going to do it,” Nick said.

        “We know what she’ll say,” Brian said.

        “We can see she loves you, Nicky,” Kevin said. Nick smiled and sat down. Hayley, Leighanne, and Kristin came out with the food to cook and Hayley sat down in Nick’s lap.

        “You okay, Nicky,” Hayley said kissing his forehead.

        “Yeah,” Nick said holding her close.

        “Okay,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and picked her up and carried her inside. He carried her up to their room and sat her on the bed.

        “Hayley, I wanted to do this in private, I love you, Hayley, you know me more than anyone, like I know you, and I want to be with you forever, I never want there to be a day without you in it, will you be my wife?” Nick asked as he knelt down and held out the ring box. Hayley looked at it and opened it and saw the most beautiful ring. She looked at Nick and smiled and nodded.

        “Yes!” Hayley said. Nick grinned and kissed her hungrily and he slid the ring on her finger and kissed her softly and hugged her. They went downstairs and announced the news. Kristin and Leighanne hugged Hayley while Kevin and Brian shook Nick’s hand. Nick slipped Brian his credit card. Brian looked at him.

        “Tell Leighanne to get whatever dress Hayley wants,” Nick said. Brian nodded and he went to Leighanne and whispered to her. She looked at Nick and nodded.

Later that night, Hayley stood by the window of the bedroom and looked at the sky and she looked at her hand and smiled. Nick came up behind her and hugged her from behind. He rested his chin on her shoulder.

        “I love you,” Nick said.

        “I love you, too, I know I always will and I know you never will hurt me,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her neck. He ran his hands up her shirt. He pulled off her shirt and pulled off her pants and removed his clothes and her underwear and bra and turned her around and picked her up. He pushed her against the wall and pushed inside her. He moved to the bed and continued making love to her. He came, spilling his love inside her. She came around him and he collapsed on top of her and buried his face in her neck.

        “I love you, so much, I can’t be without you,” Nick said.

        “Same here, Nicky, same here, I love you so much,” Hayley said.

        “I know we haven’t officially been a couple for very long but it feels like we have been together forever,” Nick said.

        “We have, Nicky, just not romantically, but we have been together, as best friends, we have everything,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her deeply. They went to sleep holding each other.

Chapter 5

Three months went by. Hayley got busy planning her and Nick’s wedding. She was at the mall with AJ. They walked to bridal shop and Hayley saw the dress she wanted.

        “Is that the dress?” AJ asked.

        “Yeah, I already checked, that is the only dress they have left, and they don’t want to let the display dress be sold,” Hayley said.

        “Are there any dresses like it?” AJ asked.

        “I looked, there isn’t, I can’t believe it, the one dress I want, they don’t have in stock,” Hayley said. AJ put his arm around her.

        “Maybe we can find some way to get a dress made like it, my mom could do it,” AJ said.

        “Really?” Hayley said.

        “Yeah, let’s go ask her,” AJ said. They went to Denise’s and AJ described the dress that Hayley wanted. Denise nodded.

        “I can do it, I need a picture of the dress and your size,” Denise said.

        “I’ll take care of the picture,” AJ said. He left. Hayley told Denise her size.

        “I just want everything to be perfect, I love Nick so much,” Hayley said.

        “And I know he loves you, he always has, he and I had a conversation one time, he confess to me when he was 18, he was in love with you, I know he never stopped, now you two are getting married, it’s like his dream came true, he was devastated when you married Mike, AJ told me what Mike did, I’m glad he is gone, you deserve better, you deserve Nick, you two are meant to be,” Denise said. Hayley smiled and hugged her. AJ came back and showed his mom the picture and Denise nodded.

        “I can do it,” Denise said. Hayley smiled. AJ took her home.

        “So where’s Nicky,” AJ said.

        “He is in LA doing that House of Carters, remember, I decided to hang back here to stay out of the way for him and his brother and sisters,” Hayley said.

        “He left you alone?” AJ asked.

        “I can take care of myself, J,” Hayley said.

        “I know that, you are not weak,” AJ said.

        “AJ, you better run!” Hayley said. AJ ran off and Hayley chased him. Hayley caught up with him and tackled him. She sat on top of him and held him down. He looked at her and she looked at him. She got up and went inside. AJ followed her.

        “Hayley,” AJ said.

        “What,” Hayley said.

        “What’s wrong,” AJ said.

        “Nothing,” Hayley said. AJ walked up to her.

        “Hayley,” AJ said.

        “What,” Hayley said.

        “I’ve been hiding this for awhile but I have fallen for you,” AJ said.

        “Oh great, AJ, why did you do that, I’m in love with Nick, I am marrying Nick, I don’t have feelings for you,” Hayley said.

        “Are you sure about that, you seemed like you were hiding something,” AJ said.

        “I’m not, AJ, you are dreaming, I’m not hiding anything,” Hayley said. AJ grabbed her and kissed her hard on the lips. She tried pushing him away but AJ kept ahold of her. He pressed her against the wall and held her arms to the wall.

        “AJ, let me go!” Hayley yelled.

        “You want this, Hayley, I know you do,” AJ said kissing her neck.

        “No, AJ, I don’t want this, I want Nick, let me go, please!” Hayley said. AJ was pulled away from her by Kevin as Kristin pulled Hayley away from the wall and stood with her as Kevin held AJ to the wall.

        “She said no, Alexander, she told you to let go, she said please, are you crazy, she’s Nick’s fiancée, if you hurt her, Nick will kill you, you need to respect her feelings,” Kevin said.

        “She wants me, I know she does,” AJ said.

        “Like hell I do, AJ, I love Nick with everything in me, I would rather die than lose him forever,” Hayley said. AJ shook his head and left. Hayley sat down.

        “I need to go out to California to see Nick,” Hayley said.

        “Come on, we’ll go with you,” Kevin said. Kristin nodded.

        “Guys, I need to go alone,” Hayley said.

        “We will go with you, I need to do some things for JWR while I’m out there,” Kevin said.

        “Hayley, face it, we are going with you,” Kristin said.

        “Okay, I meant I need to talk to Nick alone,” Hayley said.

        “You will, we are going out there with you, we will not leave you alone, either me and Kevin are with you or Nick is,” Kristin said. Hayley smiled and nodded. They helped her get a bag packed and she locked up the house and they went to Kevin’s house and got a bag for them packed and headed to the airport and headed to LA.

Epilogue

Three months went by. Hayley told Nick what happened and he and Hayley sat down with AJ and talked it out and AJ realized that he missed his ex girlfriend, Amanda, and got in touch with her and talked with her. Nick and Hayley got married a month afterwards where Leighanne surprised Hayley with the dress she wanted. She told Hayley that Nick had given Brian his credit card to give to her to get the dress when he overhead Hayley telling her and Kristin. After the wedding, Hayley pulled Nick into one of the rooms and hugged and kissed him.

It has been two months since the wedding and Hayley and Nick just found out that they were expecting their first child. Hayley went downstairs and went out back and stood there looking at the ocean. She felt arms wrap around her from behind and lips on her neck.

        “Hey beautiful,” Nick said.

        “Hey handsome,” Hayley said.

        “I love you so much,” Nick said.

        “I love you, too,” Hayley said.

        “I’m so happy right now, to have you and we are having a baby, I can’t wait to be a father,” Nick said.

        “Thank you for loving me, Nicky,” Hayley said.

        “I will love you forever, baby,” Nick said. She smiled and rested her head back against him.

        “I love being in your arms,” Hayley said.

        “I’m never letting you go, you are my wife, my lover, my best friend, my everything,” Nick said. She smiled and they stood there watching the waves and she knew she would be happy forever with her best friend and lover.
